Pete Callahan, of CTSC Law, maintains an active litigation practice in both Southern California and the Bay Area. He’s an Honors graduate of Loyola School of Law, Chicago, Illinois and the St. Thomas More Society “Lawyer of the Year”, 2004. Pete’s also been selected by his peers as one of “Fifty OC Super Lawyers”, a designation he’s received since 2004, and honored as one of the “100 most influential lawyers in California” by the Daily Law Journal. He joined the Wells of Life Advisory Board in September, 2013 and will lead our corporate fundraising efforts. Pete and his wife Valerie of 47 years enjoy the company of their two daughters, the elder a law partner in his firm and the younger a doctor of clinical psychology, as well as their four grandchildren. They are currently remodeling a second home which they recently purchased in the Lafayette area. Aside from his family, Pete’s hobbies include sports and American history.

Wells of Life primarily finances the drilling of bore-hole water wells in rural Uganda villages, preferably close to schools and churches, to bring clean water to replace contaminated surface water sources. We help reduce infant mortality, prevent blindness, allow girls to attend school and women to function as mothers with dignity and effectiveness rather than as beasts of burden, and profoundly change lives, as a cost of $6,000 per well, every penny of which goes only to drilling.

We can use volunteers of all types, but primarily as ambassadors to spread the news that we have developed a fast, economical, very effective, verifiable and easily duplicated solution to a critical problem. We can't change the world all at once, but we can and do change the world for a thousand people at a time!
