Call Me Catholic Radio Show
Peggy Normandin is host of EWTN’s Call Me Catholic, a light and lively radio talk show that explores the blessings and perils of embracing a Catholic identity. The live one-hour program featuring interviews with interesting and prominent Catholics from around the world is co-produced by the diocese of Orange and airs on the EWTN global Catholic radio network on Saturdays at 1 PM (Eastern).
A native of Los Angeles, Peggy is a cradle Catholic who writes and speaks about the culture and devotions of Catholicism and how that expresses itself in a modern lifestyle. Her commentary is punctuated by conviction and a dash of humor and addresses subjects that range from “Making the Most of our Modern Catholic Media” to “Understanding Awesome.” Peggy earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of the Pacific and pursued a career in public relations and journalism where she was a spokesperson for Mattel Toys. She also authored a weekly human interest column titled “Time Out”, published by the Los Angeles Times. Her second and current profession in broadcasting combines Peggy’s passion for the Catholic faith with her appetite for good conversation.
Peggy lives in Costa Mesa, California, where she and her husband of 33 years raised their three sons.
